Position: Full-Time Virtual Assistant
About the Role
We are looking for a bilingual Mandarin-speaking Virtual Assistant to join our team and support an insurance agency. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling phone calls, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with insurance quoting and policy servicing.
Experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance is preferred but not mandatory. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and confident communicating with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound calls with clients and insurance customers.
Assist with insurance quoting, particularly California FAIR Plan policies.
Process policy servicing requests, including:
Payment inquiries and assistance
Policy cancellations
Endorsements and policy changes
Policy updates and other customer requests
Provide professional and friendly customer service.
Assist with insurance-related administrative and backend tasks.
Follow up on client requests and ensure tasks are completed accurately.
Work closely with the insurance agency team to support daily operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Fluent in Mandarin and English (bilingual communication skills required).
Previous experience handling phone calls in a professional or customer service environment.
Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with California FAIR Plan quoting is a plus.
Understanding of insurance policy servicing, including payments, cancellations, and endorsements, is an advantage.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks.
Willingness to work a graveyard shift aligned with US business hours.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
