My Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) store lives entirely on AWS—EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront and Route 53—and I’m ready for an expert who can own the stack end to end. The immediate goal is simple: keep the site fast, secure and up 24/7 while we continue to scale.
Here’s the landscape you’ll step into. Nginx serves the shop behind a CloudFront CDN, PHP-FPM drives the code, Redis handles sessions and FPC, and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch powers on-site search. Traffic is healthy and growing; any performance regression or checkout glitch costs real money, so rapid, surgical troubleshooting is essential.
First tasks
• Audit the current infrastructure and Magento codebase, flagging security gaps, extension conflicts, slow queries and AWS resource mis-sizes.
• Deliver an action plan with clear priorities, timelines and rollback paths.
• Implement the approved fixes: database tuning, autoscaling tweaks, Redis and search optimisation, SSL renewal, WAF rules, backup automation and zero-downtime CI/CD via Git.
• Finish with a load-test report that proves faster page loads, stable checkout and clean logs.
Ongoing expectations
You’ll monitor uptime, apply patches, coordinate with extension vendors and payment gateways, and handle every deployment—from feature rollouts to hot-fixes—without disturbing live shoppers. When something breaks, log diving, packet sniffing and code profiling are just part of the day.
If you have 5–10 years of hands-on Magento 2, PHP, MySQL and Linux experience, plus deep familiarity with AWS tooling, let’s talk through a roadmap and get the storefront performing at its best.
