I have a complete set of drawings for a 24' × 24' detached garage that will eventually carry a finished apartment above. Before I submit my building-permit package to the Town of Salisbury, Massachusetts, I need a professional who is already licensed in the Commonwealth to look over both the architectural and the structural sheets, suggest any corrections, and then apply an official seal.
On the architectural side I’m interested primarily in design validation—confirming my layout, head-room clearances, egress paths, and similar details meet best-practice expectations for future habitable space. Structurally, I’m looking for a thorough review that verifies gravity and lateral load paths, member sizing, and overall stability; any red-line comments can be incorporated right in the CAD files so that the final deliverable is a clean, buildable, stamped set ready for the building-inspector’s desk.
All drawings are available in both PDF and AutoCAD (DWG) formats. Let me know you’re licensed in MA, tell me how soon you could turn the plans around, and flag any additional information you’d need from me—soil reports, manufacturer cut-sheets, or model numbers—so we can keep the permit schedule moving.
