I am preparing for the LSAT and am looking for a reliable, organized person based in India to help me stay consistent with my studying.
This is primarily an accountability and study-management position, not a traditional LSAT tutoring position.
Responsibilities may include:
* Keeping track of my LSAT study hours, practice sections, and progress
* Maintaining a simple Google Sheet or study log
* Checking in with me about whether I completed planned study sessions
* Helping me organize my weekly LSAT study schedule
* Occasionally joining me on Zoom or Google Meet while I study for accountability/body doubling
* During these sessions, you may mostly be doing your own work while making sure I remain focused
* Asking me periodically what I completed and what I plan to do next
* Helping identify patterns such as procrastination, inconsistent studying, or spending too much time on one activity
* Offering practical study or productivity suggestions when appropriate
* If you have LSAT, GRE, GMAT, law-school, tutoring, or standardized-test experience, that is a plus, but it is not required
I am looking for someone who:
* Has very good spoken and written English
* Is dependable and punctual
* Is comfortable communicating directly when I am falling behind
* Is organized and good with spreadsheets
* Has a stable internet connection for occasional video calls
* Is comfortable with a long-term working relationship if the trial goes well
Expected workload:
Approximately 3–5 hours per week initially. Some weeks may include a longer live study/accountability session.
Budget:
Approximately $5–8 USD per hour depending on experience. I am looking for someone under $10/hour.
When applying, please answer these questions:
1. What is your hourly rate?
2. What part of India/time zone are you in?
3. Have you ever helped someone with studying, tutoring, accountability, or exam preparation?
4. Would you be comfortable joining a 1–2 hour video call where I am mostly studying silently and you periodically check that I am on task?
5. How would you keep track of my weekly study progress?
6. Give me one example of what you would say if I told you I planned to study for two hours but only completed 30 minutes.
7. What hours are you normally available?
Please start your proposal with the words “LSAT accountability” so I know you read the full description.
