# Long-Term 2D Animation Freelancer Needed | 3 YouTube Channels | Consistent Weekly Work

## Project Overview

We are building three YouTube channels in different storytelling categories and are looking for a skilled, reliable 2D animator for a long-term working relationship.

Our goal is to build a consistent content production system with engaging stories, memorable characters, attractive visuals, and regular uploads.

We are looking for someone who can transform our scripts and creative direction into complete, professionally presented animated videos. This is intended to be an ongoing collaboration rather than a one-time project, with the opportunity for increased work as our channels grow.

## Our Content Categories

We are developing three distinct types of YouTube content:

**1. Indian Storytelling & Moral Stories**

Family stories, emotional narratives, cultural tales, moral lessons, traditional storytelling, and engaging characters.

The visual style should be warm, expressive, appealing, and suitable for storytelling audiences.

**2. Horror & Suspense Stories**

Supernatural stories, mysteries, haunted locations, suspense, psychological horror, and cinematic storytelling.

We need atmospheric scenes, expressive characters, dramatic lighting, appropriate visual effects, and engaging scene transitions.

**3. Children's Animation & Entertainment**

Children's stories, adventures, entertaining characters, educational themes, and age-appropriate content.

The animation should be colourful, friendly, engaging, and visually appealing to children.

Each category will have its own visual identity and recurring characters. We expect consistent character designs and visual quality across episodes.

## Scope of Work

The selected freelancer will create complete 2D animated videos based on the scripts, references, and creative direction we provide.

Responsibilities include:

- 2D character animation, expressions, movements, and interactions.
- Background creation and scene composition.
- Props, environments, and supporting visual elements.
- Camera movements, transitions, zooms, and suitable visual effects.
- Consistency in characters, backgrounds, and visual style across episodes.
- Efficient animation workflows using reusable assets, character rigs, and templates where appropriate.
- Incorporating agreed feedback and delivering the final videos on schedule.

We are open to cut-out animation, rigged 2D animation, motion-based storytelling, and frame-by-frame animation where necessary.

Our priority is a balance of visual quality, engaging storytelling, consistency, and efficient production.

## Important: Animation Only — No Audio Required

**We need the complete animated video without audio. We will handle all audio separately.**

You do not need to provide:

- Voice-over or narration.
- Background music.
- Sound effects or audio mixing.

The video must contain the complete visuals, animation, scenes, transitions, and required on-screen text.

**Delivery specifications:**
- MP4 format.
- 1920 × 1080 resolution preferred.
- 16:9 aspect ratio.
- No watermark.
- Smooth playback and consistent visual quality.

Please mention any export or delivery limitations in your proposal.

## Video Duration & Weekly Volume

Our videos will generally be between 5 and 15 minutes long, depending on the script.

Our initial production plan is:

- 4 videos per week in the first content category.
- 4 videos per week in the second content category.
- 4 videos per week in the third content category.

**Total: 12 videos per week across three channels.**

For initial budgeting, we are estimating an average of approximately 10 minutes per video. The actual duration will depend on each script.

We want to establish a reliable production schedule, maintain consistent quality, and develop a repeatable workflow for ongoing content production.

## Long-Term Opportunity & Increased Workload

We are serious about growing these channels and building a sustainable content operation.

If one or more channels perform well, we may increase their upload frequency from 4 videos per week to 8 videos per week.

This could create additional recurring work for the selected freelancer.

We value long-term working relationships, predictable assignments, professional communication, and consistent delivery. A freelancer who performs well may receive ongoing projects and increased production volume as our requirements expand.

Any increase in workload will be discussed in advance and agreed according to availability, pricing, and production capacity.

## Budget & Payment

Our target budget is **₹160–₹175 per finished minute of animation**.

Indicative pricing:

- 5-minute video: ₹800–₹875.
- 10-minute video: ₹1,600–₹1,750.
- 15-minute video: ₹2,400–₹2,625.

The final rate will be agreed before each project begins, based on the approved animation style, complexity, and deliverables.

We are looking for an animator who can work efficiently with reusable character rigs, backgrounds, and assets while maintaining good visual quality.

If your proposed rate differs, please share your pricing and explain the animation style, quality, and production capacity you can offer within your budget.

Please specify whether your quote includes revisions, project files, and any applicable platform fees or taxes.

## Paid Trial Project

We would like to begin with a small paid trial before committing to the full weekly workload.

The trial will help us assess:

- Animation quality and visual storytelling.
- Character consistency and scene composition.
- Ability to follow instructions and references.
- Production speed and communication.
- Ability to meet the agreed budget.
- Suitability for recurring weekly production.

The trial duration, payment, scope, and deadline will be agreed in advance.

Successful completion may lead to a recurring production arrangement.

## Workflow & Delivery

Our proposed workflow is:

1. We provide the script, visual references, approximate duration, and creative brief.
2. The freelancer confirms the scope, rate, and delivery deadline.
3. The freelancer creates the animation.
4. We review the first version and provide consolidated feedback.
5. The freelancer completes the agreed revisions.
6. The final silent video is delivered in the agreed format.
7. Payment is released according to the agreed contract or milestone terms.

We aim to keep the process clear and efficient so the freelancer can focus on production.

## Contract & Ownership

We intend to establish a written agreement before starting recurring production.

The agreement will cover:

- Pricing and payment milestones.
- Video duration and deliverables.
- Weekly volume and delivery deadlines.
- Revisions and quality expectations.
- Confidentiality and protection of unpublished scripts and concepts.
- Commercial usage rights and ownership of commissioned work.
- Third-party asset licensing.
- Source files and editable project files, as agreed.
- Termination and outstanding payments.

Upon payment, the rights to commissioned videos will be transferred or licensed as expressly agreed in the contract. Any third-party assets must be disclosed and appropriately licensed for commercial use.

We want a fair, transparent arrangement that protects both parties and supports a long-term professional relationship.
