I need a reliable way to keep tabs on portable medical equipment—think infusion pumps and patient monitors—even when they move between far-flung clinics. Location alone isn’t enough; I also want to know whether each unit is in motion and receive basic health readings such as battery level or internal temperature.

I expect a full solution that includes selecting the right long-range communications technology (LoRa is my first thought, though I’m open to Sigfox, NB-IoT, or any other network you can justify), sourcing or custom-building the tag hardware, and standing up the software side so I can view the data on a secure dashboard or API.

Deliverables
• Hardware specification and sourcing plan for the tracking tags
• Firmware that captures GPS (or equivalent), motion status, battery, and temperature, then transmits it over the chosen network
• A backend that ingests, stores, and presents the data—web dashboard or JSON API is fine as long as it’s clear and easy to extend
• Deployment guide so my in-house team can add new devices or adjust settings without your further help

Acceptance criteria
• Tags report location accuracy within 10 m outdoors and 30 m indoors, update every 1–5 minutes while moving, and once an hour when stationary
• Battery life meets or exceeds three months on a single charge in typical use
• Dashboard shows live map, movement status, and battery/temperature readings for each asset, with history exportable to CSV

If you have proven experience building IoT tracking solutions and can demonstrate previous LoRa or similar projects, I’d love to see it.
