This project involves moving bulk scrap materials over long-distance routes between my supplier’s yard and my processing facility. The core task is the end-to-end pickup and delivery of these scrap loads; no on-site sorting or hazardous-material removal is required.
You’ll be handling full-truckload quantities of mixed or sorted scrap, so a rig equipped for heavy, loose cargo and a driver holding the appropriate CDL and DOT compliance are essential. Secure tie-down practices, accurate weight management, and familiarity with scale tickets will keep the trip smooth and fully documented.
Deliverables I need from you:
• Confirmed collection and drop-off schedule with estimated transit times
• Properly completed bills of lading and proof-of-delivery for every load
• Brief status updates from the road (GPS link or message check-ins are fine)
If you already run long-haul lanes and can fold these scrap runs into your route plan, let’s talk timing and lane availability so we can lock in the first shipment.
