Locum Family Law Solicitor

I’m looking for a seasoned family law solicitor who can step in on a locum basis and run a small but important caseload from day one. Most of the current files centre on financial matters—specifically divorce settlements—so you must be completely at ease drafting Form E, negotiating consent orders, attending FDRs, and, when needed, preparing for final hearings. While the financial stake is the primary focus, a solid working knowledge of children matters is still required so any linked Section 8 or Schedule 1 issues keep moving without delay.

The workload is intentionally light—no more than five live cases at a time—but each client expects hands-on, start-to-finish representation. You’ll be trusted to manage every procedural deadline, keep the LEAP file up to date, and send concise written advice after each key stage.

Deliverables
• Assume conduct of existing divorce-settlement files and provide an updated case plan within the first week
• Draft, file, and serve all necessary financial-remedy documents on schedule
• Maintain accurate, real-time entries on our case-management system for easy oversight
• Conclude each matter with a closing report and fully audited file

You must hold a current practising certificate for England & Wales and carry equivalent PII. Work location and hours are flexible as long as deadlines and client communication standards are met.
