Title: LinkedIn Group Manager for a B2B travel and tourism community (part-time, ongoing)
Description:
We work with tourism boards, airports and their agencies. We’ve just launched a LinkedIn group, the Reasons to Visit Inflight Entertainment Community, for destination marketers worldwide. We need an experienced community manager to run it day to day.
What you’ll do
Approve or decline join requests against our membership rules.
Publish 3 posts a week from our ready-written content bank, then reply to comments within 24 hours.
Welcome new members by name and encourage introductions.
Keep our Google Sheet invite tracker up to date.
Research named contacts (marketing directors, heads of partnerships) at tourism boards, airports and agencies, using company LinkedIn pages and websites.
Send a short weekly report: new members, engagement and top conversations.
What we need
Proven experience managing LinkedIn groups or B2B communities. Please share examples.
Excellent written English, with a professional, warm tone.
Strong research skills for finding the right named contacts.
Reliability and availability Monday to Friday, during Irish or UK business hours.
Experience in travel, tourism or aviation is a strong plus.
Details
About 8 to 10 hours a week, ongoing.
You’ll be added as a group manager. You will not need access to anyone’s personal LinkedIn account.
Budget: [your hourly rate or monthly fee]
Start: immediately.
To apply, tell us about one LinkedIn group or community you’ve grown, and how you kept it active. Applications without an example won’t be considered.
