My 76,000-word fiction manuscript, “The Mistaken World,” has just been re-translated from Polish for its second English edition. I now need a fresh set of eyes to give it a light but meticulous pass.

Your brief is straightforward:

• Read the full manuscript in English and correct grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure wherever they interrupt flow.
• Keep an eye on tone so every chapter sounds consistently like the same narrator.
• Flag only the major moments where the English wording feels off compared with normal usage; I’m not looking for a line-by-line re-translation, just a note when something jars the reader.

Please return two files: one with tracked changes and one clean, ready for layout. A concise style sheet or summary of recurring issues would also be helpful.

If you enjoy polishing fiction and can preserve the voice that already lives on the page while tightening what needs tightening, I’m looking forward to working with you.
