We are looking for PCB designers, freelancers, and engineering teams who have old or archived KiCad projects that they would be interested in licensing for AI training and research.

We are not looking for new designs or any additional engineering work. We simply want to collect existing projects that you already have in your archive.

What we need:

- KiCad projects only
- Editable source files, preferably including both schematic and PCB layout
- Projects with atleast components. More components means more complex and more budget
- Your own original projects or projects you have the legal right to license
- No GitHub, open-source, publicly available

You don't need to update, clean, redesign, or document anything. Simply put your existing old, completed, inactive, or archived KiCad project folders into ZIP files and share them with us for review.

This is a licensing arrangement, not an outright purchase of your designs. You will retain ownership of your projects, while granting the agreed rights to use the files for AI training and research purposes.

Payment will depend on the complexity, completeness, and quality of the projects. Our current budget is generally around $5–$15 per project, and we may be able to offer more for particularly complex designs. We also have some flexibility on pricing if needed to secure a suitable collection.

We are particularly interested in people who already have hundreds or thousands of projects available. Larger collections and the possibility of ongoing collaboration are a plus.

We are hoping to start reviewing projects and acquiring the first batch within the next 2–5 days.

If you are interested, please let us know approximately how many KiCad projects you have available and share 3–5 samples covering different complexity levels. We can discuss the final pricing once we have reviewed the samples and understand the quantity available.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
