Project Description: Athermalization Model for a Five-Element Lens Barrel Assembly

The goal of this project is to develop a thermal athermalization model for a five-element refractive lens assembly mounted inside a mechanical lens barrel. The model should account for the thermal expansion of the lenses, spacers, barrel sections, lens cells, and detector/image-plane support structure so that the optical performance can be evaluated over temperature.
