Our new SWRO desalination plant is approaching start-up and I need a commissioning lead who can take full ownership of testing and validating the high-pressure pumping train. Your responsibility begins with developing a pressure-testing plan that aligns with the project specifications, coordinating with my engineering team for isolation points and allowable limits, and then executing the tests on site until every pump and common header meets acceptance criteria for pressure, integrity, and leak-free operation.

During execution you will arrange all gauges, calibrated data loggers, and safe venting equipment, supervise energisation, step each pump through the pressure envelope, record data directly into the commissioning database, and close out any punch items that appear. All work will be carried out under our live permit-to-work system, so familiarity with standard commissioning safety protocols is essential.

Deliverables
• Approved pressure-testing procedure and checklist
• Raw and summary data sheets exported from the data logger (CSV & PDF)
• Signed pressure-test certificate for each pump and for the common discharge manifold
• Final punch-list close-out report

Completion of these items will constitute acceptance of the job. Site access is available immediately and the target window for all pressure tests is two consecutive shifts once the plan is approved.
