I’m preparing the launch of our very first kids’ active-wear collection for ages 4 – 10 and need a seasoned fashion/technical designer who can translate the reference briefs I provide into clean, factory-ready tech packs.
Scope of this initial capsule
• Garment types: T-shirts and other tops, shorts and leggings, plus coordinated tracksuit sets.
• Performance priorities: moisture-wicking fabrics, plenty of stretch, and all-day breathability.
• Look & feel: a minimalist, sleek aesthetic—think streamlined panels and subtle colour blocking rather than loud graphics.
What you’ll deliver
1. Technical flat sketches (front and back)
2. Full measurement/spec sheet across our size range (approx. 3–5 sizes per style)
3. Fabric, trim, and construction detail callouts (seams, stitching type, labels, closures)
4. Bill of materials (BOM)
5. Colourway/application notes where relevant (e.g., contrast trims, side stripes)
Acceptance criteria
• Tech packs must be clear enough for our overseas manufacturing partner to sample without further clarification.
• Measurements graded accurately across the specified size range.
• All call-outs reference industry-standard terminology.
Once we decide we’re a good match you’ll receive the full reference folder and brand guidelines under NDA. My hope is to find someone I can keep coming back to for future seasons, so thoroughness and a collaborative mindset are essential.
