Kannada Heritage Documentary Production

I want to create a warm, insightful Kannada-language documentary that preserves and celebrates our area’s local history and traditions. The storyline will revolve around the most important places, landmarks, and historical events that have shaped the community, weaving together interviews, archival material, and present-day footage so viewers feel the continuity between past and present.

You will guide the entire production cycle—from shaping the narrative arc and developing a concise script in authentic Kannada, to filming on location (including aerial or timelapse shots where they strengthen the story), and finally editing the material into a polished 12- to 15-minute film. High-quality sound design, subtle background music that reflects regional culture, colour-graded footage, and clean on-screen titles are essential. I will supply contact access to elders, local historians, and custodians of the sites; you capture their voices and the visuals that bring their stories to life.

Deliverables
• Two-page concept outline and shooting schedule (approved before filming)
• Final script in Kannada (with an English translation table for reference)
• Raw footage and separate audio tracks organised by scene
• Completed documentary in 1080p (H.264 MP4) with burnt-in Kannada titles and optional English subtitles
• Source project files (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve)

Acceptance Criteria
• Narrative clearly spotlights the chosen landmarks and events, linking them to community identity
• On-screen text, narration, and interviews are error-free, culturally accurate Kannada
• Visual and audio quality suitable for festival submission and online streaming

If you already own the gear to capture cinematic visuals and can manage post-production in industry-standard software, let’s preserve this heritage together.
