Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Workflow Automation Engineer to help design, build, and maintain our ecosystem of automated business processes. Working alongside our development team, you will contribute to our digital workflow strategy using Zoho Creator, Zoho Flow, n8n, and other automation tools. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and can translate business needs into functional automated solutions. This is a hands-on role where you'll grow your technical skills and gain valuable experience in workflow automation and integration.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Development

Contribute to analyzing business processes and identifying automation opportunities under guidance

Assist in designing and implementing workflow architectures under senior developer supervision

Work with the team to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Development & Implementation

Build custom applications and modules within Zoho Creator under mentorship

Develop multi-step workflows using Zoho Flow and N8N to connect various tools and systems

Integrate third-party APIs and webhooks to enable data flow between systems

Write Deluge scripts to manipulate data and implement business logic

Write clean, well-documented code across front-end (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and back-end systems (Node.js or Python)

Scripting & Customization

Utilize JavaScript and JSON for API interactions, data parsing, and custom code steps

Develop Python scripts for data processing and other automation tasks as assigned

Learn best practices for writing maintainable and scalable code

Systems Integration & Support

Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting automated workflows

Support the maintenance of data consistency and security across integrated systems

Participate in identifying and resolving integration issues

Documentation & Learning

Create technical documentation and process flowcharts for implemented solutions

Contribute to training materials and user guides

Actively seek feedback and continuously improve technical skills

Collaborate with team members to learn best practices and emerging technologies

Important Notes

This is afull-time, fully dedicated role. Applicants must not be concurrently engaged in other freelance, part-time, or consulting work. Core working hours are based on Pacific Time (PT), and candidates must be consistently available during these hours. We are open to offshore candidates.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

2-5 years of professional experience in software development, automation, or related technical fields (or recent graduate with strong portfolio)

Foundational knowledge of the core stack:

Zoho Creator: Working knowledge of building applications and writing Deluge scripts

Zoho Flow: Familiarity with designing and implementing basic to intermediate workflows

QuickBooks Online API: Familiarity with QBO API

N8N: Understanding of how N8N works and ability to build multi-step workflows

Zapier (or similar): Basic experience connecting applications and creating automations

Development fundamentals:
Proficiency in JavaScript and HTML/CSS for front-end development

Basic to intermediate understanding of Node.js or Python for back-end scripting

Solid grasp of RESTful API principles and how to work with APIs

Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases

Technical skills:
Ability to write clean, readable code with attention to detail

Experience working with APIs and webhooks

Familiarity with JSON and JavaScript for data manipulation

Understanding of Deluge scripting basics

Soft skills:
Excellent organizational and communication skills

Detail-oriented and accountable approach to work

Eagerness to learn and grow in a technical role

Ability to work collaboratively with team members and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Zoho products

Familiarity with marketing automation systems or CRM platforms

Basic experience with version control systems

Knowledge of AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, Google AI) and their potential applications

Experience with real estate technology or marketing platforms
