I have a single reference image in JPG format that I need transformed into production-ready files for manufacturing. The task is to recreate the geometry precisely, keeping the original image dimensions intact, and supply three outputs: a clean DXF for machining, a print-ready PDF, and a fully-featured SolidWorks model.
Because the part will go straight to the factory floor, every feature visible in the image must be represented with high fidelity rather than a simple outline. Hole placements, radii, fillets, cut-outs—anything that will affect tooling—should match the source image exactly. I will review the SolidWorks file to confirm that each element is present and properly constrained before sign-off.
Deliverables
• DXF file (1:1 scale)
• PDF drawing with views and key dimensions called out
• SolidWorks part file (.SLDPRT) with all features parametric and editable
Acceptance criteria: the DXF imports into a CNC package without errors, the PDF prints true to size, and the SolidWorks model rebuilds with no missing references. If you work in AutoCAD or similar for the DXF stage, that’s fine as long as the final SolidWorks model matches.
Let me know your estimated turnaround and any questions you have about tolerances or file hand-off.
