I need an experienced sales professional who already understands the food, beverage, and liquor landscape in Japan to take over day-to-day account work for a portfolio that includes both key retailers and on-premise partners.

The immediate focus is on retaining and expanding the business we already have. That means regular sales outreach to existing buyers, spotting up-sell or cross-sell opportunities, and keeping every account engaged with timely product information, promotional calendars, and sell-through data. At the same time, I expect you to open doors with new strategic outlets when you see a logical fit, but without sacrificing service quality for our current customers.

What you’ll deliver
• A clear 30-day action plan covering outreach cadence, meeting targets, and revenue objectives.
• Weekly snapshots summarising calls, objections, wins, and next steps so I can course-correct quickly.
• End-of-month performance review comparing forecast vs. actual sales, highlighting growth achieved in each account and any risks that need attention.

Success is measured by higher order volumes from current accounts, stronger placement on core SKUs, and at least one incremental listing per quarter that aligns with our brand goals. Fluency in Japanese and familiarity with the compliance quirks of alcohol sales are therefore essential.

If you can jump straight into conversations with Japanese buyers, nurture those relationships, and turn them into incremental revenue, let’s talk.
