I’m closing my positions on Revolut and must work out the real-world Irish tax bill for roughly a dozen ETFs. All transaction data—buys, sells, dates, costs, and proceeds—is already organised, so you can dive straight into the numbers rather than chasing paperwork.
The core task is to calculate my capital gains tax accurately under Irish rules, distinguishing between reportable gains, allowable losses and any exit tax nuances that apply to ETFs held through an EU broker. Once the figures are confirmed, I’d also like clear, practical guidance on legal ways to minimise the liability this year and in future (relief timing, loss offsets, etc.).
Deliverables
• Spreadsheet or PDF showing each ETF’s gain / loss, pooled calculations and final tax due
• Short memo explaining methodology, key sections of Irish tax law referenced and recommended savings steps I can still take before filing
I’m keen to file on time and with confidence, so please bring proven experience with Irish CGT on ETFs and, ideally, familiarity with brokerage statements from Revolut or similar platforms.
MUST have Irish taxation Knowledge. Thanks.
