Developer/Engineer Needed for IoT System – Android + ESP32 + Computer Vision + Cloud

I am looking for an experienced developer or engineer to build a prototype of an integrated smart IoT device, with the possibility of continuing the collaboration to develop the complete system.

The project requires experience with Android, ESP32, IoT, Computer Vision, hardware integration, backend development, and cloud systems**.

Project Components

The system will use an Android Industrial Panel PC as the main processing and display unit.

The requirements include:

- Camera integration with Computer Vision / Face Recognition.
- Face recognition should preferably run locally on the Android device.
- The system should prevent the same recognized face from performing another operation for 20 minutes, while allowing a new face to proceed.
- Integration between Android and an ESP32.
- Control of a 12V DC Gear Motor to operate a mechanical mechanism and perform one operation at a time.
- Integration with sensors such as:
- Item presence sensor.
- Successful dispensing/output detection sensor.
- Limit switches for mechanical positioning.
- Door sensor.
- Inventory/stock monitoring if required.
- Essential functions should continue working locally if the internet connection is lost, with synchronization when the connection is restored.

Cloud System

The project should include:

Backend + API + Database + Cloud Infrastructure

The architecture should be scalable and capable of supporting a large number of devices in the future.

Each device should have its own Device ID, status, configuration and operational data.

Web Dashboard

A simple and user-friendly web dashboard should provide:

- Device Online/Offline status.
- Inventory level for each device.
- Daily and total operation counts.
- Errors and alerts.
- Device and sensor status.
- Remote image/content upload to device screens.
- Ability to send content to one device or multiple devices.
- Remote configuration where appropriate.
- Statistics and reports.

Project Approach

I prefer to divide the project into fixed-price milestones.

The first stage should be a Prototype/MVP demonstrating the core functionality before developing the complete cloud platform.

Full delivery should include the source code, ESP32 firmware, Android project, backend, web dashboard, database structure, documentation, and hardware/wiring diagrams**. Full ownership of the developed source code and project files must be transferred to the project owner.
