iOS Retail Review App

I’m building an iPhone app whose single, standout purpose is to let shoppers read and post product reviews in a clean, engaging way. Think of it as the reviews tab of a full-blown retail store, but distilled into its own experience so users can rate, comment, upload photos, and get quick feedback from other buyers.

The first release is focused solely on iOS. We’ll use Face ID / Touch ID via Apple’s LocalAuthentication framework as the only sign-in method; the moment a shopper opens the app they authenticate biometrically and land straight on a feed of reviews. In the background, the app should fetch and sync review data from a simple cloud back-end (Firebase, Supabase, or similar—open to your suggestion) and cache intelligently so content is still visible offline.

Key deliverables
• A Swift/SwiftUI universal build that passes TestFlight review
• Seamless biometric login with graceful fallback when the device lacks Face ID or Touch ID
• CRUD operations for reviews (rating, text, photo) with real-time updates
• Basic moderation dashboard or admin endpoint so I can flag or remove content
• Clean, well-commented code plus a short README so future Android or web versions can reuse the data layer

Acceptance
I’ll consider the project complete once I can install the TestFlight build, create a review, see it sync across at least two devices, and pass through biometric re-entry without any credential prompts.
