I need a clean, well-structured Excel file that lets me manage inventory day-to-day while also running statistical analysis on the numbers I capture. The workbook should make it simple to enter purchases, sales, current stock levels, reorder points and supplier details, then automatically calculate totals, variances and any other metrics that help me spot problems before they grow.

Alongside the core inventory functions, I want a dedicated section (or separate sheet if that is clearer) where I can run statistical analysis on the historical data I collect. Think summary tables, charts and formula-driven insights that quickly show what’s moving, what’s stagnating and how stock levels trend over time. I’m open to PivotTables, dynamic arrays, Power Query or any native Excel features that streamline the workflow—as long as I don’t have to refresh formulas manually every week.

The finished file should arrive ready to populate, clearly labeled, protected against accidental formula edits and light enough that it loads fast even when it holds a full year of transactions. If you have examples of similar inventory-plus-analysis workbooks you’ve built, feel free to share; it will help me see how you approach layout and usability.
