Inventory and Demand Planning Specialist Needed

Hi, I’m looking for an experienced demand and inventory planning specialist to help me take over an existing Excel demand plan for a footwear and accessories company.

I need hands-on help reviewing and correcting the workbook, updating it with current data, and teaching me how to maintain it independently.

The work includes:

* Reviewing existing formulas, data sources, and forecasting assumptions.
* Reconciling sales history, available inventory across warehouses and Amazon, backorders, and open purchase orders with arrival dates.
* Forecasting demand by SKU, including individual sizes and colors, while accounting for seasonality and periods when products were out of stock.
* Showing projected shortages, weeks of inventory remaining, and recommended order quantities and timing based on lead times.
* Creating a clear weekly update process and walking me through the calculations.

My priority is getting the existing workbook accurate and usable quickly. The deliverable should be an updated Excel plan, a list of corrections and unresolved data questions, and simple instructions for maintaining it.

Have you worked with a similar business involving multiple warehouses, Shopify, Amazon, and a large number of size variations? Are you comfortable troubleshooting someone else’s Excel workbook?

Can we start with a paid two-hour screen-sharing session to assess the file and work through the first updates together? Please let me know your earliest availability, hourly rate, and whether you can work this weekend. After reviewing the file, I’d like an estimate for completing the remaining work.
