Instrumental Bhajan Jam Team

I’m putting together a small, tight-knit ensemble—no more than ten of us—to explore bhajans through pure instrumental jam sessions. The idea is to blend the soul of traditional Indian sounds with the texture of Western instruments, creating fresh arrangements that still honour the devotional core.

Here’s what I have in mind: we’ll meet online first to swap ideas, pick a short set list, and decide on keys and tempos. From there we’ll move into live or recorded sessions (your preference: Zoom, OBS, or any DAW you’re comfortable with). Harmonium, tabla, flute, mridangam, guitar, bass, cajón, even subtle synth pads—all are welcome as long as you can lock in, listen, and leave space for others.

Deliverables
• Your instrument’s clean multitrack stems or high-quality live capture for each bhajan we arrange
• One rough-mix reference after every session so the group can review and refine
• A final, polished mix (stereo WAV + MP3) of each completed piece, delivered within the agreed timeframe
