My server is running Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS (“Jammy Jellyfish”) and needs a clean, production-ready installation of Wowza Streaming Engine.
The goal is to walk away with a fully operational setup that:
• Delivers live streaming, video-on-demand, and DVR functionality out of the box.
• Starts automatically with systemd and survives reboots.
• Listens only on the required ports, with the firewall tightened to recommended Wowza guidelines.
• Includes a short, step-by-step document (or shell script) showing exactly how you installed, configured, and verified everything so I can replicate or troubleshoot later.
A quick test stream (HLS or RTMP) demonstrating each of the three features will serve as acceptance that the job is complete.
