# Instagram Social Media Manager & Content Creator — VendorStory
### About VendorStory
VendorStory is a new SaaS product for Indian wedding and event vendors such as photographers, decorators, caterers, DJs, makeup artists, mehendi artists, and other service providers.
The platform helps vendors create a professional online portfolio and create personalised quotations/proposals for their clients, helping them present their work better and close more clients.
We are at an **early stage with a brand-new Instagram account**, so the goal is to build our presence from scratch and gradually grow an engaged audience.
### What I'm Looking For
I'm looking for a **freelancer who can independently manage our Instagram page and help grow the account**.
This is not just a post-designing job. I want someone who can understand the product, target audience, and Indian wedding/event vendor market and create content that people actually want to watch and share.
### Responsibilities
* Develop an Instagram content strategy
* Research competitors and relevant Instagram trends
* Create Instagram Reels
* Create carousel/static posts
* Write captions, hooks and CTAs
* Schedule and publish content
* Research relevant hashtags/keywords
* Monitor Instagram analytics
* Identify which content performs well and improve future content
* Help increase reach, engagement, profile visits and followers
* Suggest new content ideas regularly
* Repurpose content where appropriate
### Expected Content
Initially, I am looking for approximately:
* **3–4 Reels per week**
* **1–2 carousel/static posts per week**
* Stories when relevant
* Captions + hashtags/keywords
* Basic monthly performance report
The exact content mix can be discussed based on what works best.
### Content Direction
The content should primarily target **Indian wedding/event vendors**.
Examples:
* Problems photographers face when converting leads into clients
* Why having only an Instagram portfolio isn't enough
* Better ways to present quotations to wedding clients
* Common mistakes vendors make while responding to inquiries
* Pricing/quotation tips
* Client psychology and sales tips
* Wedding business marketing tips
* Before/after examples using VendorStory
* Product demonstrations
* Vendor success stories/case studies
* Industry trends and relatable content
* Educational and entertaining Reels
I don't want the page to become a generic "business tips" page. Content should eventually connect naturally back to **VendorStory and the problems it solves**.
### Ideal Freelancer
You would be a good fit if you:
* Have experience managing Instagram business accounts
* Understand Reels and short-form content
* Can independently come up with content ideas
* Have basic knowledge of Instagram growth
* Can edit Reels yourself using tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, etc.
* Understand hooks, retention, CTAs and engagement
* Can show examples of Instagram accounts/content you've worked on
* Are comfortable working with an early-stage startup
* Can experiment and iterate based on analytics
**Bonus:** Experience with SaaS, startups, wedding/event businesses, photography, or B2B marketing.
### Important
This is an **early-stage startup with a limited initial budget**, so I'm looking for an individual freelancer rather than an expensive agency.
I'm more interested in someone who is creative, proactive and willing to experiment than someone who simply creates Canva posts and schedules them.
I am happy to provide product information, screenshots, demos and ideas about VendorStory. You will be responsible for turning those into engaging Instagram content.
### Initial Engagement
I'd prefer to start with a **1-month trial/project**.
If the collaboration works well and the content quality and growth are good, this can become an ongoing monthly engagement.
Please include in your proposal:
1. Your monthly pricing
2. What is included in the pricing
3. How many Reels/posts you can create per month
4. Examples of Instagram accounts you've managed
5. Examples of Reels/content you've created
6. Your approach to growing a brand-new Instagram account
7. Whether you handle Reel editing yourself
8. How quickly you can start
**Please don't send a generic proposal. Tell me specifically how you would approach growing a brand-new Instagram account for VendorStory.**
