Instagram Account Recovery Guidance

I’m locked out of an old Instagram account. I still know the username and can supply matching photos or a government-issued ID to prove ownership, but I no longer have the linked phone number or email address. Each time I tap “Forgot password,” the reset link heads to that unreachable email, so I can’t move forward on my own.

I’m looking for someone who already knows Instagram’s official recovery routes—Help Center forms, in-app selfie verification, Facebook-linked appeals, or any other sanctioned path—and can walk me through them step by step until I’m back inside the account. Absolutely no hacking, password cracking, or policy-violating shortcuts: everything must stay within Instagram’s rules and support channels.

When you reply, please outline:
• The legitimate method you’ll follow and why it works
• A brief example of similar recoveries you’ve handled
• An estimated timeline from first form submission to restored access

The engagement is complete once I can log in successfully or have a clear, documented escalation path approved by Instagram support.
