In-person meeting scribe for leadership workshop (San Jose, CA)
seeking an experienced meeting scribe to support facilitated leadership sessions in the San Jose area. You’ll work alongside the facilitator to capture the discussion accurately during the session.
Dates: 9/22/2026
Session times: 11:30-3:30
Location: San Jose area, California; exact location provided upon selection.
In-person attendance is required.
Responsibilities:
• Capture key discussion themes, differing perspectives, and unresolved questions.
• Clearly distinguish proposed ideas from confirmed decisions and commitments.
• Document action items, owners, and deadlines when established.
• Collect and organize flip-chart notes and breakout-group outputs.
Ideal qualifications:
• Experience documenting executive meetings, facilitated workshops, retreats, or strategic planning sessions.
• Strong listening, writing, and synthesis skills.
• Ability to follow a fast-moving discussion with multiple participants while remaining neutral.
• Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential discussions.
• Based in the Bay Area and able to travel to the session location.
• Able to bring your own laptop.
We will provide the agenda, a documentation template, and a brief preparation call. The facilitator will lead the sessions; your focus will be documentation.
