Improve Resin Miniature Print Quality

I print tabletop miniatures and figures on a desktop resin machine, yet tidy surface detail keeps getting ruined—supports leave visible scars and delicate pieces sometimes snap when I remove them. My main goal is getting consistently sharper, cleaner results rather than choosing new hardware or rescuing totally failed prints.

What I need is a practical, step-by-step playbook that shows how to:

• set up and orient miniatures in the slicer so supports touch only sacrificial areas,
• fine-tune support diameter, density, and tip size to minimise marks,
• balance exposure, lift speed, and resin viscosity for stronger but easier-to-clean parts,
• streamline post-cure and clean-up so fragile details stay intact.

Feel free to reference specific tools like Lychee, ChiTuBox, Voxeldance or any other slicer you favour, and assume access to common consumer printers (Mars, Saturn, Photon class) and standard ABS-like or water-washable resins.

Deliverables:
1. A concise settings sheet or PDF cheat-sheet I can load straight into my slicer.
2. A short written walkthrough (or screen-capture) that demonstrates support placement on one sample 32 mm miniature.
3. A troubleshooting section covering the most frequent failure symptoms I described.

Clear, actionable guidance that I can test on my very next print run is the acceptance criterion.
