IET Chartered Engineer Certification Review

I am approaching hand-over on a construction project and must bring in a Chartered Engineer registered with the Institution of Engineering and Technology to provide independent technical consultancy for the final inspection and certification stage.

Scope
The structure is complete, services are live, and all as-built documentation is ready. What I need now is an IET-chartered professional who can:
• carry out a site visit (UK location) to verify that the built works match drawings, specifications, and current Building Regulations;
• review electrical and mechanical installations for compliance with BS and IET standards;
• highlight any residual defects or safety issues;
• issue a formal engineer’s inspection report and completion certificate that can be presented to building control, insurers, and the client.

Acceptance criteria
Your certificate must reference the relevant clauses of the regulations you have checked, include your IET chartered registration number, and be delivered in PDF format within five working days of the inspection.
