HR Records & Payroll Assistant

I’m looking for a detail-minded HR assistant to keep every employee file tidy and make sure each payroll run happens on time and without errors. At the moment all of our records live in paper folders, so your first task will be to review what we have, create an organized index, and prepare a simple system that lets us retrieve any document quickly.

Once the filing foundation is in place, you’ll take charge of the full payroll cycle: collect timesheets, verify hours and deductions, enter the data into our spreadsheet template, and generate payslips for review. Accuracy is essential; I’ll rely on you to catch discrepancies before anything is finalized.

Deliverables
• Indexed, easy-to-navigate employee record system (scanned or clearly catalogued paper)
• Clean, formula-driven payroll spreadsheet ready for each pay period
• Brief end-of-month summary noting any compliance or data issues
