I need a qualified accountant-auditor to dive into our housing society’s books, which are maintained entirely in accounting software, and uncover any mistakes that have crept in over the year. The mandate is straightforward: comb through every ledger, bill, bank reconciliation, maintenance-fee posting, expense voucher, and closing balance. Wherever you spot an error, please fix it directly in the system and note the correction so the committee can see what changed and why.

Once the data is clean, I also want clear, practical guidance on how each type of transaction should be entered going forward so we stop repeating the same mistakes. Think of it as a short “best-practice playbook” tailored to our workflows rather than a generic manual.

Deliverables
• A corrected and fully balanced set of books inside our current software (QuickBooks, Tally, or similar—let me know your preference and we’ll confirm access).
• A concise error-and-fix report summarising each issue found and the adjustment made.
• A step-by-step guide (bullet points are fine) showing the proper way to record maintenance charges, vendor invoices, bank deposits, interest income, and petty-cash outflows.

Acceptance criteria
• Trial balance nets to zero and matches bank statements.
• No unreconciled transactions older than 30 days.
• Committee can follow the playbook without additional clarification.

Access to the software, prior export files, and scanned bills will be provided immediately after we agree on milestones and timeline. Let me know your estimated turnaround and any questions you have about the current chart of accounts.
