WooCommerce Homepage UI/UX Redesign – Puca Theme + WPBakery
We are looking for an experienced eCommerce UI/UX designer and WordPress developer to redesign the homepage of our existing WooCommerce website.
Current technology:
WordPress + WooCommerce
Puca theme (ThemeBay)
WPBakery Page Builder
Project objective:
Modernize the homepage with a clean, professional, visually appealing design that improves the shopping experience, product discovery, mobile usability, and conversion potential.
We want a meaningful visual redesign, not simply a rearrangement of existing elements.
Scope of work:
Review the existing homepage and recommend UX/UI improvements.
Propose a new homepage structure, including banners, category navigation, featured products, promotional sections, and trust elements as appropriate.
Create desktop and mobile homepage mockups in Figma for approval.
Implement the approved design in WordPress, preferably using the existing Puca theme and WPBakery.
Apply custom styling where necessary while ensuring maintainability.
Optimize mobile responsiveness, page loading performance, and usability.
Test the new homepage on major browsers and devices.
Important requirements:
Prefer retaining our existing WooCommerce theme and functionality.
Do not change the theme or page builder without explaining the technical reasons and obtaining approval.
Preserve existing products, URLs, SEO metadata, and WooCommerce integrations.
Work on a staging environment, not directly on the live website.
Ensure the homepage remains easy for our team to update.
Avoid excessive plugins and unnecessary custom code.
Deliverables:
Desktop and mobile Figma designs
Fully implemented responsive homepage
Up to two rounds of design revisions
Testing and bug fixes
Brief documentation for editing homepage content
