I need a custom rugby-player table-number trophy designed specifically for FDM 3D printing.

The finished trophy will be approximately 270mm tall and used commercially in our café. Customers are handed the trophy when ordering and take it to their table, so it needs to be strong, stable, easy to carry and resistant to being dropped.

DESIGN

• Male rugby player carrying a rugby ball
• Player integrated with the trophy structure for strength
• Large, highly visible table number at the top
• Stable weighted-style base
• Overall height approximately 270mm
• Designed to minimise fragile arms, legs, fingers and other failure points

COLOURS

The trophy will be printed on a Bambu Lab P2S with AMS.

I currently use:

• Black – main trophy/player
• White – table number
• Red – accent
• Green – accent

The model should therefore be designed with separate colour bodies/parts where appropriate so they can be easily assigned in Bambu Studio.

The number is NOT removable. Each trophy will have its own permanently modelled number.

The first prototype should be *12.

Once the design has been successfully test printed, I will require versions numbered 1–30.

IMPORTANT – FDM DESIGN

This is not just a rendering project.

The final model must be engineered for FDM printing with practical:

• wall thicknesses
• overhangs
• support requirements
• layer orientation
• structural strength
• manifold/watertight geometry

I want to avoid excessive supports and post-processing wherever practical.

DELIVERABLES – PROTOTYPE

• Native editable CAD/source file
• STEP file
• STL ready for slicing
• 3MF suitable for Bambu Studio, ideally retaining separate colour bodies
• Table 12 prototype
• One revision after my physical test print

The table number must be straightforward to change in the source model so Tables 1–30 can subsequently be produced.

I will test-print the prototype on my P2S before approving the final design.

Please provide examples of character/sculptural work designed specifically for FDM printing, your preferred modelling software, estimated turnaround time and fixed price.

Full commercial rights and editable source files are required on completion.
