Job Title: Voice-Over Artist / Narrator – Health Education Audiobook
About the Project
We're producing a health education audiobook (approx. 1 hour finished runtime) that explains key wellness topics in a clear, trustworthy, and approachable way. We need a narrator who can make practical health information feel warm, credible, and easy to follow.
What You'll Do
Narrate the full script in a natural, conversational tone
Pronounce medical and wellness terms accurately (we'll provide a pronunciation guide where needed)
Self-record, edit, and deliver clean, finished audio
Make light corrections and re-records if needed after review
What We're Looking For
Warm, clear, confident voice that suits educational and health content
Prior audiobook, e-learning, or health/wellness narration experience (preferred)
Steady pacing and consistent tone across a long-form read
Ability to follow direction and turn around revisions quickly
Reliable and communicative throughout the project
Technical Requirements
Professional home studio or treated recording space
Quality large-diaphragm condenser mic and audio interface
Noise floor below -60 dB RMS, peaks no higher than -3 dB
RMS between -23 dB and -18 dB
Delivery as WAV (preferred) or MP3 (192 kbps+), mono or stereo, 44.1 kHz
Raw/unprocessed or lightly edited files, no heavy effects or music
