Handwritten Fiction Transcription Data Entry

I have a collection of handwritten novels and other fiction manuscripts that I need converted into clean, editable digital text. The job is purely text transcription—no numerical tables or cataloging involved—so I’m looking for someone with a sharp eye for detail, fast typing skills, and the patience to keep the original storytelling voice intact while correcting obvious spelling mistakes.

Your work will start from high-resolution scans of each page. From there, I’d like a separate Word document for every title, formatted with chapter headings and paragraph breaks matching the source. Please preserve any author notes in brackets, and flag illegible words for my review rather than guessing.

I consider the task complete when:
• Each manuscript is delivered as an individual .docx file.
• All text is proof-read and matches the source line for line.
• Unclear handwriting is highlighted for clarification.
