Convert 7 Scanned Floor Plans to Accurate SVG Files
Job Description
We have 7 PDF files containing hand-drawn/scanned floor plans that need to be recreated as clean, accurate SVG vector files.
The preferred method is to manually trace/redraw the plans over the original scans, although you may use Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator, CAD software, or any other suitable software.
The important requirement is the quality and accuracy of the final SVG files.
Requirements
Recreate all visible floor-plan lines, walls, doors, fixtures and other relevant details.
Maintain the proportions and layout of the original drawings as accurately as possible.
Lines should be clean, straight and consistent.
Repeated objects should be reproduced accurately and consistently.
Text/labels should be recreated as proper vector text where practical.
Do not simply embed the scanned image inside an SVG.
Do not use low-quality automatic image tracing that produces rough or excessive vector paths.
SVGs must remain sharp and clear when zoomed in significantly.
Final files should be properly structured and editable.
Remove the scanned/PDF background from the final SVG.
Deliverables
7 individual SVG files, one for each supplied PDF.
Each SVG should closely match the corresponding original floor plan.
Files must open correctly in standard SVG-compatible software and web browsers.
