I need a concise but technically sound Ansys Granta EduPack study that compares several candidate materials for a vehicle or machine part. The prime decision drivers are total cost and environmental impact, so the report must clearly show how each material performs on both fronts and recommend the best-fit option.
I will supply basic geometry, loading data and any manufacturing constraints I already know. Using Granta EduPack, please:
• Build a materials selection project with appropriate performance indices for the part’s duty.
• Generate Ashby charts that visualise cost vs. eco-impact alongside strength, stiffness or any other relevant criteria.
• Run the Eco Audit to quantify embodied energy, CO₂ footprint and end-of-life scenarios for every short-listed material.
• Summarise processing routes and cost estimates, highlighting trade-offs such as recyclability or supply risk.
Deliverables
1. Editable EduPack file (.grdb or similar) containing all selection steps.
2. A clear, well-structured PDF report (≈10 pages) explaining methodology, charts, numerical results and the final recommendation.
3. A brief slide deck (5–6 slides) capturing key findings for a management-level audience.
Acceptance criteria
• All charts and tables are exported directly from EduPack; no manual transcription errors.
• Recommendation is backed by quantified cost and environmental data.
• Sources, assumptions and data versions are cited so results are reproducible.
If you have recent experience with EduPack 2023 or later and can deliver within one week, please let me know your turnaround time and any extra data you might need from me to get started.
