I have a custom-built website with Google Tag Manager already installed and linked to my Google Ads account. What I need now is a clean, dependable implementation of all key e-commerce events so I can measure real performance and optimise campaigns with confidence.

Here’s the flow I want captured inside GTM: page view ➜ search ➜ add to cart ➜ initiate checkout ➜ complete registration ➜ purchase. Every one of these events should fire a Google Ads tag, but only purchase and complete registration must be flagged as primary conversions in Google Ads; the rest can be sent as secondary actions for audience building and reporting.

Deliverables
• DataLayer push specifications (or code snippets) for each event on my custom site
• GTM triggers and Google Ads tags configured to match the events above
• Conversion labels and IDs correctly mapped in Google Ads, with purchase & complete registration set as “Conversions”
• A brief walkthrough or screencast showing how everything fits together and how to test it

Acceptance criteria
• Tags fire in the correct order when I replicate each step in Preview mode
• Google Ads receives real-time hits in the “Status” column with no errors
• Conversion counts in Ads match test transactions within reasonable delay

If you are comfortable wrangling GTM containers, custom dataLayer objects, and Google Ads conversion tracking, this should be straightforward. Let’s get it done quickly and accurately so I can start bidding smarter today.
