Google Ads Expert Needed – Recover Previously High-Performing Campaign

We are looking for a highly experienced Google Ads specialist to help us recover an existing campaign that previously performed very well.

We run a carpet and upholstery cleaning business and had a Google Ads campaign that was generating very good results and a strong flow of leads/customers. The campaign was paused for a period of time, and since restarting it, it has not returned to its previous performance. Delivery is now much weaker, CPC has increased, and conversions have dropped significantly.

The account still contains all the historical data, including the original campaigns, ad groups, keywords, ads and previous conversion data.

I do not want someone to simply delete everything and start from scratch. I want an expert who can first study the historical data, understand exactly why the campaign performed so well before, compare it with what is happening today, and identify what has changed.

The work should include:

Full audit of the existing Google Ads account
Comparison between the previous successful period and current performance
Identify why the campaign stopped performing after being paused/restarted
Review keywords, search terms and negative keywords
Review bidding strategy, CPC, budgets and impression share
Check conversion tracking and make sure the data is accurate
Improve ads, headlines, descriptions and assets where necessary
Review location targeting and audience settings
Identify whether competition or changes in the auction are affecting performance
Restructure campaigns only if there is a clear reason to do so
Develop a clear strategy to restore conversions and then scale the campaign

The main goal is simple: get the campaign generating profitable leads again.

I am specifically looking for someone with advanced Google Ads experience and proven experience recovering underperforming accounts.

When applying, please show me examples of similar Google Ads accounts you have recovered, including measurable before/after results where possible.

Also briefly explain what you would investigate first if a previously successful campaign was paused and then failed to perform after being restarted.

I would like an initial diagnosis of the account first, followed by a clear action plan before major changes are made.
