GIS-Based Forest Mapping Project

I need a complete forest-cover map built in a modern GIS environment. The core task is to compile, clean, and overlay spatial data that accurately shows current forest extents, boundaries, and key attributes across the study area. Source material will include satellite imagery that I will supply, plus any open-data layers you recommend for refining canopy type, stand age, and topography.

Please georeference everything to WGS 84, standardize attribute tables, and document processing steps so the workflow is fully reproducible in ArcGIS Pro or QGIS. Alongside the editable geodatabase, I would like ready-to-print PDF map sheets and brief metadata notes that describe layer sources, coordinate system, and accuracy limits.

Deliverables

• High-resolution PDF maps (A3)
• Step-by-step processing log / metadata file
