I’m expanding our global game-localization roster and want to connect with freelance linguists who can work on both EN→DE and CN→TH titles. If you have 3–5 years of experience and can bring game worlds to life for players in their native language, I’d love to hear from you.
Here’s what I’m specifically after:
• Core skills: Game translation, proofreading, and full Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA).
• Language coverage: Native-level German and Thai for the respective pairs.
• Industry know-how: Solid grasp of genre-specific terminology, in-game UI constraints, and cultural adaptation.
• Transparency: An authentic, verifiable CV outlining projects and responsibilities.
Workflow & next steps:
1. Send your CV highlighting relevant titles and platforms you’ve worked on.
2. Complete a brief translation test so I can gauge style accuracy and tone.
3. If shortlisted, join a short video interview where we’ll discuss tools, turnaround times, CAT environments, and ongoing collaboration.
Deliverables for each assignment will typically include:
– Localized in-game strings and dialogue.
– A second-pass proofreading file correcting any linguistic or technical issues.
– An LQA report summarizing bugs, consistency checks, and cultural notes.
If you thrive on creating immersive player experiences and can meet tight release schedules while maintaining top-tier quality, let’s team up and level up these games together.
