I’m preparing for a new exhibition and want solid press coverage to build excitement before the doors open. I already have part of a media list, but many key names and addresses are still missing. Your job is to complete that list and then pitch the show to a mix of local newspapers, art magazines and relevant online blogs.

Here’s what I’ll hand over on day one: a draft event synopsis, dates, a handful of confirmed contacts, imagery and copy points. From there, I need polished outreach materials—one concise press release, a friendly personalised email template and a downloadable gallery brochure—tailored so each outlet feels the story is meant for them.

Deliverables
• Updated, merged contact list (spreadsheet) covering editors, arts reporters and blog contributors
• Final press release in both Word and PDF formats
• Personalised email copy ready to mail-merge
• Designed brochure (print-ready PDF, web-optimised PDF)
• Outreach log that tracks who was contacted, when, and any responses or coverage secured

Acceptance criteria
• At least 90 % of the target publications on my wish-list have verified contact details
• Messaging stays on-brand and free of typos
• All files delivered no later than one week before the opening night

If you’re comfortable navigating media databases and crafting art-savvy pitches, this should be straightforward and rewarding.
