Full-Stack Developer with Apple Wallet / PassKit Experience

I’m looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to review and continue developing an existing SaaS platform that generates and manages Apple Wallet loyalty passes.

The platform is already built and working. I am not looking to rebuild the application from scratch.

First Phase

The developer will first:

* Review the existing source code, backend, database, APIs, and web dashboard.
* Review the current Apple Wallet pass generation structure.
* Review .pkpass / pass.json implementation.
* Understand how Customer IDs, Pass IDs, and Wallet updates currently work.
* Set up or verify a proper Test / Staging environment.
* Make all changes on Test/Staging first before anything is deployed to Production.

Main Development Tasks

1. Configurable Customer Fields

The dashboard already contains customer fields such as:

* Name
* Phone Number
* Email
* Gender
* Date of Birth

Currently, all fields are mandatory for every business.

I want each business to be able to configure each field as:

* Required
* Optional
* Hidden

This must be handled correctly across:

* Web Dashboard
* Backend/API validation
* Database

Optional fields should be nullable rather than using fake/default values.

2. Apple Wallet Back Fields

Improve the information displayed on the back of the Wallet pass.

Possible fields include:

* Instagram
* Website
* Contact
* Branches
* Terms & Conditions
* Custom Message
* Share Link
* Update Customer Information
* Last Updated
* Powered by Pipps

Ideally, these settings should be manageable per business through the web dashboard.

Existing Features That Must Be Preserved

The following are already working and should not be unnecessarily rebuilt:

* Business accounts
* Customer accounts
* Staff accounts
* Loyalty transactions
* Automatic Apple Wallet pass updates
* Duplicate-pass prevention
* Customer transaction history

Development Workflow

No direct changes should be made to the live Production environment.

Preferred workflow:

Git Branch → Test/Staging → Testing → Approval → Production

Required Experience

Strong experience with:

* Backend development
* REST APIs
* Databases
* Web dashboards
* Git
* Test / Staging environments

Experience with Apple Wallet / PassKit is highly preferred, especially:

* .pkpass
* pass.json
* Pass signing certificates
* Apple Wallet Web Services
* APNs / pass updates
