Full-Stack Developer for Web Application

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to help build, maintain, and improve an existing web application on an ongoing, part-time basis.

The developer will work across both backend and frontend components and will be responsible for implementing new features, improving existing functionality, fixing bugs, writing maintainable code, and assisting with testing and deployment.

Key responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain backend APIs using Python or Node.js
* Build and improve frontend features using JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework such as React or Next.js
* Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and third-party services
* Work with relational or NoSQL databases
* Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
* Review existing code and recommend practical improvements
* Assist with deployment and production-related issues when needed
* Communicate progress, technical decisions, and blockers clearly

Required skills:

* Strong professional full-stack development experience
* Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar) and/or Node.js
* JavaScript and TypeScript
* React, Next.js, or similar modern frontend framework
* REST API development and integration
* SQL and database experience
* Git and standard collaborative development workflows
* Experience deploying or maintaining production web applications

Nice to have:

* AWS or other cloud platform experience
* Docker and CI/CD experience
* Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs
* Automated testing experience

Project structure:

This is an ongoing remote freelance project. We expect approximately 10 to 30 hours of work per week, depending on availability and current project requirements.

Initial tasks will focus on reviewing the existing codebase, resolving outstanding issues, and implementing several backend and frontend improvements. Additional features and milestones may be assigned based on the quality of the initial work.
