I have a production-bound platform that spans a Django backend, a Vue.js front end, a WordPress marketing site, native Android / iOS apps and several AI pipelines. I now need a technical lead who can jump in and push the remaining pieces over the finish line.
Primary hands-on focus
• Strengthen and extend the Django REST backend, ensuring it cleanly exposes services consumed by the mobile apps and Vue interface.
• Stand up and theme the WordPress instance so it lives side-by-side with the main site while sharing authentication and analytics.
AI scope
The vision component relies on TensorFlow. You will refine datasets, retrain the model, and package it for inference. OpenCV utilities are already wired for real-time image preprocessing; tuning and optimisation will be part of the job.
Cloud & DevOps
All services are containerised. Dockerfiles exist but need consolidation and security hardening. Final deployment runs on AWS EKS, so a solid grasp of Kubernetes objects, Helm and CI/CD (GitHub Actions preferred) is required.
Mobile touchpoints
The native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) apps compile and run, yet still rely on test endpoints. Once the backend is locked down, the apps must be pointed to production, receive the latest AI model, and pass the store-submission checklists.
Key deliverables
1. Updated Django codebase with new endpoints fully covered by tests.
2. WordPress site deployed behind the same domain with SSO enabled.
3. Retrained TensorFlow model pushed to ECR and callable via REST and the mobile SDKs.
4. Kubernetes manifests/Helm charts ready for blue-green deployment on AWS EKS.
5. Android (AAB) and iOS (IPA) release builds using the production API.
Merge requests should be incremental, well-documented and include pipeline status badges. A brief hand-over video at each milestone will confirm acceptance.
