On election day, I need upbeat, courteous greeters stationed just outside designated polling locations in League City, TX 77573. Your sole responsibility will be to welcome voters as they arrive, point them toward the correct entrance, and answer basic way-finding questions. Poll greeters will pass out campaign literature. Distribution is required; the main focus is entirely on creating a smooth, positive first impression for every voter.
Shift times are as follows:
- October 30: 3 poll greeters needed from 7 am to 7 pm.
- November 3: 7 poll greeters needed from 7 am to 7 pm.
Exact site addresses will be provided once the team is assembled and matched based on individual skills. Professional, weather-appropriate attire and a calm, non-partisan demeanor are essential, as you will be the first face voters see before entering the building.
When you reply, please attach brief examples of past work that show you have interacted with the public in a welcoming or customer-service capacity—anything from event registration to retail greeting is helpful. That background will let me match the right personalities to each location.
Deliverable: arrive on-time at your assigned site, follow the simple greeting script I provide, and submit a quick end-of-shift note summarizing approximate voter flow and any issues you encountered.
If you enjoy friendly, straightforward public-facing work and can commit to punctuality, I look forward to adding you to the team. Pay is $10 per hour.
