I regularly receive technical documents written in French that must be rendered into polished, client-ready copy. The assignment goes beyond a straightforward translation: once the text is in the target language, I will need it streamlined, terminology-checked, and lightly edited to match any style or formatting guidelines I supply for each file.

Here is how I see the workflow:
• Translate the original French technical content with full accuracy.
• Optimize phrasing and structure so the final text reads naturally to specialists and non-specialists alike.
• Perform a final proofread, catching inconsistencies, unit errors, or formatting issues before delivery.

Please attach samples of past work that show similar French-to-target-language projects, especially in technical domains such as engineering, IT, or scientific research. Demonstrated experience with CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, or Wordfast) will be valued, though manual translations are welcome when quality is clear.

Each batch will come with its own brief, glossary, and deadline, so reliability and openness to feedback are essential. If this sounds like a good fit, share those previous samples and let me know how soon you could begin.
