We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented freelance WordPress developer to customize an existing Envato website template for our organization.
This is a substantial website project consisting of approximately 86 pages. The selected developer will work with our existing template, replace the demonstration content with our supplied content, and ensure that the entire website is professional, visually consistent, responsive, and fully functional.
Required Technical Skills
Applicants must have strong practical experience with:
* WordPress development
* Envato themes and templates
* Elementor
* PHP
* JavaScript
* HTML and CSS
* Responsive website design
* Template customization
* WordPress troubleshooting
* Fluent Forms
* FluentCRM
* FluentSMTP
The developer must be comfortable writing and modifying code when necessary. Some areas of the template may require custom PHP, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS adjustments that cannot be completed through Elementor alone.
All customizations should follow WordPress best practices. Where appropriate, custom code should be implemented through a child theme or another update-safe method. WordPress, theme, and plugin core files must not be edited directly.
Form and CRM System
The Envato template currently uses MetForm. We do not intend to use MetForm because it does not meet the requirements of our planned form and customer-management system.
MetForm will be replaced with:
* Fluent Forms
* FluentCRM
* FluentSMTP
Our internal team will create and configure all forms, CRM automations, email notifications, and SMTP settings. These areas include important settings that must be managed only by our team.
The developer’s responsibility will be to:
* Remove or deactivate MetForm safely after confirming it is no longer required
* Replace the existing MetForm sections with the correct Fluent Forms shortcodes
* Insert each shortcode on the appropriate page
* Style the form sections so that they match the website design
* Ensure that the forms display properly on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
* Coordinate closely with our team whenever a form or shortcode is ready to be added
The developer must not change our Fluent Forms, FluentCRM, or FluentSMTP configurations without prior approval.
Main Responsibilities
The selected developer will be responsible for:
* Customizing the existing Envato template
* Building and editing approximately 86 website pages
* Replacing all demonstration content with the content we provide
* Maintaining consistent fonts, colors, spacing, buttons, and layouts
* Making necessary PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS adjustments
* Adding Fluent Forms shortcodes to the correct pages
* Ensuring that all pages are responsive
* Checking navigation, buttons, links, headers, footers, and interactive elements
* Optimizing images and page layouts for good performance
* Testing the website across major browsers and screen sizes
* Correcting layout problems, broken elements, and inconsistencies
* Keeping the website professional, clean, modern, and aligned with our branding
Design and Communication Requirements
We are specifically looking for someone who:
* Communicates clearly and professionally in English
* Responds promptly during agreed working hours
* Is patient, cooperative, and able to follow detailed instructions
* Has strong visual judgment and graphic-design ability
* Understands how to combine colors professionally
* Pays close attention to alignment, spacing, typography, and consistency
* Can work independently while providing regular progress updates
* Accepts feedback professionally and makes revisions carefully
* Does not disappear or leave messages unanswered for long periods
Initial Milestone
The project will begin with a small milestone covering a few selected pages. This will allow us to evaluate the developer’s design quality, technical ability, attention to detail, communication, and ability to follow instructions.
If the initial work meets the agreed standard, we will proceed with the remaining pages. If it does not meet the agreed requirements, we may end the engagement immediately
