Freelance Retail Finance Manager Needed

I’m looking for a seasoned Finance & Accounting professional who can step in right away on a part-time, freelance basis and keep our retail books in top shape. The immediate focus is threefold: deliver clear, timely financial reports, build rolling budgets and sales-driven forecasts, and prepare our tax filings so nothing slips through the cracks.

Because we sell direct to consumers, you’ll be working with inventory-heavy data and daily sales feeds. I already have cloud bookkeeping in place (QuickBooks Online and Excel are our day-to-day tools), so you should feel comfortable jumping straight into those files and tightening the month-end close without a long learning curve.

Key deliverables
• Monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow statements ready for management review
• A 12-month budget with scenario-based forecasts that can be updated each quarter
• Complete federal and state tax prep with supporting schedules, ready for my signature
